The fourth annual US Open of Beach Volleyball presented by Corona Light will be held September 24th, 25th and 26th in Manhattan Beach, CA. The US Open continues to grow towards its goal of becoming one of the largest Beach Volleyball tournaments in the nation, offering competition to players of all skill level from around the country. In 2009 the US Open grew to over 250 teams from over 25 states and 4 countries.

The event will continue to grow in 2010, thanks in part to the growth of the Corona Light Wide Open, the Official Qualifying Tour of the US Open of Beach Volleyball. WHO:   All Volleyball Players 16 Years Old and Older!

Men’s and Women’s Open Divisions – To compete in the 2010 US Open in the Men’s or Women’s Open divisions, players must qualify in through one of the following three ways.

  1. Win an Official US Open Qualifier event, listed to the right.
  2. Win a Corona Light Wide Open event.
  3. CManhattan Beach  Volleyball - Home to the some of the first and finest Beach Volleyball places anywhere.ompete in the final qualifier held on Friday, September 17th in Manhattan Beach and finish in a TBD qualifying position. The number of competitors who qualify is dependant on the number of people who have qualified via option #1 and #2 and have entered. This information will be posted as soon as it is available.

All Other Divisions – To compete in the 2010 US Open in any division besides the Men’s and Women’s Open division, players can enter through one of the following two ways.

  1. Win an Official Qualifier event, listed to the right, and receive free entry into the US Open.
  2. Register online by clicking the Register link on the top menu bar.

WHAT: The US Open of Beach Volleyball was created in partnership by

USA Volleyball, The Elevation Group and Karch Kiraly to offer both amateur and professional volleyball players a pinnacle event to compete in at the end of the summer. Through the national qualification system, as well as the Corona Light Wide Open, the Official Qualifier Tour of the US Open of Beach Volleyball, players from around the country are able to come to the US Open and compete against a national field while enjoying a weekend in Southern California.

-Men’s and Women’s AA, A, BB, B, M37+, M45+
Registration Begins at 8:00am

Sunday, September 26th
-Men’s and Women’s Open Division Semi-Finals and Finals
Play Begins at 9am
Women’s Final will begin at 2pm (Subject to tournament flow)
Men’s Final will begin at 3:30pm (Subject to tournament flow)
-Coed 2’s Open, A, Novice
Registration Begins at 8am
Play Begins at 8:30am
-Coed 4’s Open, Novice
Registration Begins at 8:30am
Play Begins at 9am

WHERE: The 2010 US Open of Beach Volleyball will be played in the shadows of the historic Manhattan

Beach Pier.
The tournament is sanctioned by USA Volleyball, the National Governing Body of Volleyball in the United States. Divisions for the tournament, along with travel information, schedules and official US Open of Beach Volleyball sponsors are available via the upper menu bar.
The time to register is NOW! This event is OPEN to all players 16 years and older. Players d0 not have to have played in a qualifying tournament .
